Top 3 Affordable Things To Do With Kids in Pigeon Forge

An amazing family vacation doesn’t have to break the bank! When you visit the Great Smoky Mountains, you will find plenty of affordable things to do with kids in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Read on to learn three of the very best ways to spend the day with your family in the Smokies.

1. Old Mill Square

This historic shopping complex takes its name from The Old Mill, a water-powered gristmill that has ground grain into flour for the inhabitants of Pigeon Forge since the early 1800s. Today, the area features a general store, a restaurant, a toy shop, and more. Be sure to stop by the Candy Kitchen, so your kids can get a free sample of fudge! Families can also take a tour of the original Old Mill for the modest price of $3 per person.

2.  Cades Cove

As part of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Cades Cove is completely free to visit. This gorgeous valley features an 11 mile loop road, so you can see the sights right from your car. With white-tailed deer, black bears, turkeys, and groundhogs, Cades Cove is one of the best wildlife viewing areas in the entire park. Your kids will love seeing all of their favorite animals in the wild!

3. The Country Tonite Show

At Country Tonite, children 12 years old and younger get in free! One paid adult admission is good for two complimentary kids tickets. We also offer a two dollar discount for teens ages 13 – 18.

Families absolutely love Country Tonite. Combining infectious music, incredible dancing, and side splitting comedy, our award winning Pigeon Forge show has something for everyone. Your kids will be in stitches when Bubba The Redneck Ranger gets up to his old tricks on stage!

In addition to Bubba’s antics, our younger audience members just can’t get enough of featured performers Colin Chandler and Willow Osborne. Despite being only 13 years old, Colin and Willow are both virtuoso musicians. When Colin plays his fiddle and Willow strums her banjo, your children will be amazed and inspired.

The Country Tonite show runs nearly every night at 8 p.m. with additional 3 p.m. shows on select days. Start planning your next vacation in the Smokies by visiting our Tickets page or giving us a call at 1-800-792-4308.
